Leg itching?

Does anyone have an itching feeling in both of there legs? They itch so bad to the point where they bleed from itching them. I've tried creams lotions everything. Nothing seems to help.

you should make an appt to see your dr about this.

you could have severe eczema.

Eczema causes the skin to itch intensely, and many of the problems seen by doctors are a result of "itch-scratch-itch" syndrome. Areas that itch tend to be scratched by the patient, and scratching makes the eczema worse.

Patients with eczema have hyperirritable skin. Therefore, anything that dries or irritates the skin will be a problem.

路Avoid rough, scratchy, tight clothing and woolens
路Avoid frequent use of soaps, hot water, and other cleansing procedures that tend to remove natural oil from the skin. Use a moisturizing soap such as Dove, Tone, Lever 2000, Eucerin, Aveeno, Basis, Alpha Keri, or Purpose, and recommended cleansers include Cetaphil and Aquanil.

路Bathe no more than once daily

路Washcloths and brushes should not be used while bathing

路After bathing, the skin should be patted dry (not rubbed) and then immediately (before it dries completely) covered with a thin film of moisturizer cream or ointment (not lotion) e.g. Aquaphor, Eucerin, Vaseline).

your dr will probably prescribe a topical steroid cream to stop the itching if eczema is truly what you have. make an appt within 24-48 hours to see him/her.

for now-try using benadryl cream (i know you said you tried everything) to your legs to help stop the itch. at night-take oral benadryl tablets 1-2 of the 25mg tablets every 6 hours (no more than 4 doses in 24 hours). these will make you sleepy and stop the itch so you can sleep

hope you feel better soon!!!

take yoursrlf to the hospital.

try the goldbond with a minty smell and dont shave so often and dont leave the razor in the restroom.

Ouch that sounds pretty bad. When do you have the itchy feeling? If its when you fall asleep then you might have restless leg syndrome, which your doctor can help you out about. If during the day it might just be a rash or something or dry skin, in which case go get some lotion or some triamcortizone cream from your doctor. Either way, go to your doctor if your symptoms persist.

i had that a month ago.. it feels awful! i changed my bath soap, i use liquid shower wash, non scented, & for sensitive skin, i also use lotion with added moisture.
so far it worked..
