Hormones?? itching?? |
the week before my period i got mild itching...this is my first period on a new birth control....this has happened once before for like three months in a row which is why i switched bc's....it got so bad that i thought i had a yeast infection so i did the monistat 3 day...it made things burn worse and everything became inflamed and dry....now my period is over but there is still some mild itching mainly on the exterior...i don't see anything abnormal. could this be hormonal?? i know they say herpes can be asymptomatic but if i had these symptoms wouldn't i have the sores? i was tested for stds like a month ago and things were fine which is why i'm thinking it's just hormonal?? anyone else go through this?? oh and vagisil pretty much stops the itch completely...just one aplpication once a day and i'm good to go You may just be irritated down there....if there is no discharge or odor I would give it a few more days....keep applying the vagisil cream...that's what it's for....Hope you feel better soon You might be like me and have an allergy to your vaginal lubrication while you are ovulating. I just wear a tampon and verything is OK. Have a doctor diagnose it for you. That way you will know what to use, if any thing. When you used monostat 3 you did not have a yeast infection. That is why it got worse. |
