What's the best cure for Irritable Bowel Syndrome?

Does anyone know what would be good to treat Irritable Bowel Syndrome?

I am a sufferer as well and I can help control it by reducing my stress levels, the best way I can do that in this society is by working out.

Eat fiberous items at least 3 times a day. You can do this simply by changing your bread to whole grain.

Drinking lots of water will also keep your intestines healthy and help the fiber create bulk in your stool.

These are the most simple ways to control without medications.

There is no cure. There are medications you can take. First off you have to figure out what is triggering it. Is it a certain type of food or situation? Can anxiety be a factor? You should make an appointment with a gastroenterologist. One quick thing to help settle your system is peppermint. Chewing gum some times works and there are capsules you can buy at health food stores.
