Irritable bowel syndrome??

Two years ago, I was diagnosed with it! I had so much pain! It did go away with a heating pad! Now, I've been stuck with it again for the past three weeks, so much pain! So again, I'm sitting on a heating pad! I take naproxen daily for another illness. It started again awhile after I went to the dentist and had to take tylenol no.3 Do you think it came back because of the combinaison of these two pills? Why do you think it came back? The pain is unbearable! Any opinion would be greatly appreciated!!

Ibs is intertwined with the nervous system, have you had a lot of stress, that could be why i have it as well and life with it stinks i am on dycyclomine because of it, it helps but i still have problems. it dose not go away it flares up

Try going on a high fiber diet..or just take fiber pills..there are triggers..but you would have to start out fresh in order to figure out what is triggering the pain..

I totally sympathize. It could be the Tylenol 3 tended to make you a little constipated. I have noticed over the years, when I am even a little blocked up, it comes back to haunt me. I know the pain is unbearable. Sometimes lying on your left side can ease some of the discomfort.

It really does help to keep fiber and water in your diet.

I recently tried a product called Lepicol, which is quite effective. Strictly speaking it isn't a medicine so you should be able to take it at the same time as other medicines. It's available from health food shops, either in tablet form or powder to mix with a drink.

IBS is often irritated or brought on by scythedic drugs (prescription or over the counter medications) Give natural health care a try. I know many more people who have found relieve treating this naturally. Help your body heal itself. Often in western medicine (traditional doctors) the medications they prescribe only treat the symptoms not the disease. And often these medicines bring on other health issues while treating another. This is how many people acquire IBS in the first place. I suspect the naproxen could even be the culprit. And the recent Tylenol no.3 flared it up again. I would subject you go to a natural health store that has employees that have knowledge with these disorders if you cant find a natural health practitioner. Do a yahoo or google search under natural health IBS -holistic health IBS- alternative medicine IBS. You will find lots and lots of supplaments and diet plans that will control you re IBS

I have ibs caused by spinal malformation born with this.Always taking fiber 60g a day.Always trying new things .I want you to try georges aloe Vera. @www.georgesaloe.com it helps a lot you drink it.Been looking for lepicol at health food stores cant find it .Aloe will heals and you feel it working right away. Also so try candidia cleanse from a health food store .
