is there any antibiotic we can use to get over this prob.? if yes then which (plz do write the name of chemical in it)i need to know the treatment of IBS ..dnt tell abt antidepressent.my bf have it n i wana help him. It's a syndrome, not the flu. Antibiotics will not get rid of it, but there are medications that can help relieve some of the symptoms. I think that prepartion h might help. http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/tutor... I suffer from IBS also have done for many years, It gets that way I do not like to stay overnight at anyone's house. It is a very embarrassing problem. Zelnorm is an excellent medicine to reduce the bloating, which in turn reduces the pain, it also is designed to help the body's digestive process happen more naturally without the constipation. IBS can be affected by stress, so some may say antidepressants etc. but try Zelnorm too. I ended up in the ER 2 times in 24 hours once b/c of severe pain before dx'd. ah.. dont keep thinking you have IBS. let you brain rule you, not ur intestine. dont think antibiotic helps.. try abdominal yoga or chinese remedial. |
