Diaognosed with irregular heartbeat, bloodwork and ECG were normal. Should i be worried?

Still having irregular heartbeats, going to see my own doctor in 5 days, still worried though cause i just have no energy and my left arm feels heavy no pain though

I was diagnosed last night at the Emergency, Doc said there was a lot of fluttering in my chest but that my tests came back normal, he said it is quite common but the fact that i have been getting it everyday and all day long is a concern. I do suffer from anxiety attacks but this just feels different, i've been under tremendous stress lately too

Don't worry and stress yourself out until you have a reason to do so, ok? YOu will see your doctor and it will all be sorted out. But the truth is, a LOT of people have irregular heartbeats. some end up being mitrovalve prolapse, which is what I have. I don't do anything differently because of it.. Best of luck to you.

you proably have anxiety

Speak to a cardiologist.

I n some that is "normal".

Best to see your doc though

I would like to know how old you are and some previous health history. It is really hard to say with out that type of info. If you see your doc in five days you should be OK until then. If you should have any worsening of symptoms in the mean time you should be seen emergently. Otherwise keep a diary of the symptoms, activities, diet and if anything makes the symptoms better or worse. Keep your appt. and don't worry yourself. Whoever diagnosed the irregular heartbeat didn't feel there was imminent threat or he would have scheduled something for you sooner. Good Luck to you.
