I have an irregular heartbeat, but i cannot afford to get it checked out.? |
I went to a local clinic (based on income) i had a fungus/rash.While i was there i told her about the sharp pains i was having in my chest.I had xrays on my chest,it came out fine. She thought maybe something was growing in there but no.I had the test done on my heart.I am worried not that it is irregular but about the pains,it is getting worse. Each time i freak out and panic. For some reason each time my husband didnt notice (for a well over a year now.)I am affraid i am going to have a heart attact and die and he wouldnt even know.It brings me to my knees and i get the reaction to grab my chest.I have applied for medicaid and they didnt accept me,then chip.I cannot afford a $500 test. :(She did say that they would accept payments. The last time we tried payments on a doctor bill it was 1/4 of what it cost per month?!?!?!? I donno what to do two people out of three that i told said alot of people have irregular heartbeats.I donno what to do,or think about that.Advise please. I did do the ekg I would see if there is an urgent care center in you area that can do an EKG. If so they should be able to tell if you need to be worried or not. First you need to relax, It is true, many people have abnormal heart beats and it it is benign. That does not mean you should simply ignore it. The next tome you have an episode go to the ER. They should run tests there. Since you do not have insurance they should send a case worker to you who will let you know what options are open to you etc. Better to have a bill that hangs around for years that not be here at all. |
