I am noticing consecutive and multiple irregular heartbeats. Am worried.?

I am seventeen years old and a male. i am 5 foot 8 and weigh close to 160 pounds. I lift weights everyday (bicep curls, romanian dead lifts, bench press, squats, and tricep extensions) and run occasionally. I consider myself to be fit.

Yesterday I began noticing irregular heartbeats. This is what happens. It beats fine for about fifteen times. Then it feels like it skips half of a beat. It feels like my heart hiccups. It is a short pause, followed by a beat. This happens consecutively for about 3 times then begins to beat normally for about 15 more beats. Then this process repeats. Can anyone tell me whats going on? Should I be worried? Thank you.

Also, i am russian, if that is of any importance.

That happens to me when I drink a lot of caffeine (especially coffee or strong tea) over a period of a few days.

In my case, it's annoying, but goes away after a few days.

If it continues, see a doctor.

if you can feel any irregularities with your heart you should be telling your doctor immediatly! my friend had a stroke because of a heart problem he didn't get looked at that turned into a minor clot in his brain.

IF YOU ARE WORRIED THEN GO TO THE ER AND HAVE AN EKG DONE SOUNDS LIKE PVC'S GOOGLE THAT FOR MORE INFO

It sounds like your body could be under too much stress, If it continues I would see a doctor

Other than that you might wanna lay off the weight lifting a little, a body can't handle too much exercise

ok so you work out regularly...

are you taking any supplements? energy drinks? caffeine?
are you stressed?
any and all of these things will affect your heart rhythm.
If none of these apply to your situation make an appointment to see your doctor, any dizziness, weak spells, chest pains?
If you have no underlying health problems I would bet it's anxiety related.

Dear I literally just got home from the er for almost the exact thing go get checked out better safe than sorry also is your heart rate faster than normal when this happens? mine was 168 when I got to the er the doc said the skips were cause my heart is working too hard I have to go see a specialist tomorrow. So it can be a big deal. Good luck

Privet!
I've had a surgery 3 weeks ago, i had irregular heartbeats, but i also had a mitral valve prolapse, a pretty sever one, born like that, had arrhythmias for about a year, due to betta-blockers treatment (never use it!!!!!!!) before that never had any problems, I'm a football state champ 2005 (TC St. Francis HS!) I all ways knew about my prolapse but when i was 18 my doctor told me I needed a surgery, but i never felt like it, then he prescribed me Athenolol, after a half of year I had tachycardias, arrhythmias and sever chest pain, I never had it even thou i had that prolapse since i was born. Now i don't have it anymore, but I'm still recovering from the surgery...
Before making any decisions see more than one doctor/specialist! And take it esey, doctors sometimes over sure themselves, so if they prescribe you something, go check it someplace Else.
Do not get scared or nervous, it won't help, just deal with the situation! Be a man!
Ladno paka, i udachi tebe!
