Which Iron Supplements should I take along with pre-natal vitamins?

Hi, I am about 30 weeks pregnant and was told that my iron levels came in at 10.4 (instead of 11.5). Nurse at doctors office called stating that doctor recommends taking Feosol or Hemocyte. I am already taking a prenatal vitamin (Primacare One).

I need help in making best decision on which iron supplement to take. It appears Hemocyte has iron and vitamin combined. Is that better or since I am taking Primacare vitamins should I focus primarily on Iron and take Feosol? Any other type of oral iron supplements recommended besides the dietary suggestions?

Feosol- Because you're already taking the Prenatal. Congrats on baby!

I am not pregnant but i do know about anemia, Iron disorder. I take Ferrus gluconate but double check with your doctor. It is an otc drug.
