IV Iron what is this!!? |
i am anemic and i have been taking Iron for the past 6 months and my iron levels have not improved at all!! My soctor is starting to get really worried because my iron levels are very very low they are less then 1 and they should be aroud 10-251 Some docs do IVs in their office, but hospitals or labs can do it as an outpatient procedure. Most IVs don't hurt except for a sting while getting the needle situated; it's not anything to stress out over. If your iron gets low enough, your blood cannot carry oxygen to your cells, so it's really important that you be treated. It's amazing that you are walking around with iron levels that low. |
