Calcuim and Iron pills--together?

I'm currently on Depo provea and I need to take calcium pills due to possible bone density loss.
Also, after having my daughter my iron levels are low and I am on iron pills
My question is... doesn't taking the calcium pill counteract the iron pills?
I've had some side effects but don't know what the culprits is. I've been told hair loss can come from the depo, iron deficiency and from having a baby.
I do have an appt in a week but just wondering what I should do in the meantime.... I'm falling apart...lol

thanks for your help.

The calcium pills could make the constipation (if you have it that is) from the iron pills going on worse, but in the mean time I would recommend checking with your pharmacist as well to see what they say.
