Alternative to iron tablets?? |
i had a blood test and the doctor said i should be taking iron tablets however when i take them i get headaches, and an upset stomach. maybe its to much iron in one go? Dark leafy greens like spinach, prunes and red meats are rich in iron. I also cannot tolerate iron pills. I agree with above answer....some people have better tolerance of iron in children's chewable vitamins...just compare the iron content written on the box Sometimes taking a reduced dosage of iron for a longer period of time can help. |
