Is iron in multivitamins bad for for you?

I'm looking to start taking multivitamins. I've been looking at Centrum. Now, aside from centrum silver (which is for 50+), everything in centrum's product line contains 100% iron (18mg).

Now I'm not 50, I'm only 23 so centrum silver isn't for me. So is iron in centrum's multivitamins excessive for guys, where there is no consistent monthly blood loss.

Should I look for another brand, that has no iron in its supplements?

18 mgs. is to much iron for a man. The little iron a man needs you can get from green vegetables and meat. I recommend the vitamins called " one a day "

It's good for women and bad for men. So is Copper (cu) and Manganese. They bind to heavy metal toxins and keep them in the body where they are not good at all. Men don't usually need Iron supplements.
