ok so i'm 15 and i recently found out that i have low iron (i'm not sure on how low it is) but i was wondering what are some of the effects of having low iron?? The causes of iron deficiency are too little iron in the diet, poor absorption of iron by the body, and loss of blood (including from heavy menstrual bleeding). It can also be related to lead poisoning in children. I have suffered it for long being a vegetarien but the only thing that fuly helped me after traying different foods was red meat. low iron causes iron deficiency anemia characterised by easy fatigability, shortness of breath,blurring of vision and lack of concentration. Low iron may be the result of inadequate nutrition or to chronic blood loss. |
