Iron enriched foods!?


from what i have been informed by my chemist, i have low iron levels in my blood.

what foods have high levels of iron in them that can help me?

Green leaf Vegetables

go to a pharmacy and buy a bottle of ferrous sulfate elixir. it is highly absorbable, just one teaspoon a day. thats what I do

Iron rich foods:
Fruits that contain iron are apricots, peaches, and dates
Vegetables that contain iron are green peas, peppers, asparagus, and spinach
Beans and lentils that contain iron are soya beans, cooked lima beans, cooked red kidney beans, cooked lentils and split peas
breakfast cereals that contain iron are bran, puffed corn, oats, whole wheat and wheat flakes
Nuts like almonds, Brazil nuts and cashew nuts contain iron
