Psoriasis, a natural cure? |
I have very bad psoriasis as a complication of an intestinal disease which causes me to not absorb nutrients correctly. Why did I get a thumbs-down for this question??? It's an honest question. Grrr. I suggest all-natural Optiflora. This is a two-product system that includes Probiotic (Bifidus & Acidophilus...microflora) + Prebiotic (FOS...food source for microflora). Patented guaranteed delivery of 500 million microflora to intestines. Detoxifies many chemicals. consider Omega 3 Essential Oil. This is a good idea if you have it on legs, arms, stomach and back. My cousin has a really bad case of it (his whole shins are covered in psproasis, along with a good portions of his fore arms). He uses the two following remedies to relieve the redness and flakiness (and makes it more comfortable). A scrub of sea salt and olive oil as well as soaking in a bath with olive oil and seasalt (epsom salts work just the same as sea salt). He also found that sunlight worked great and going swimming in the ocean worked.... but if oyur not near the ocean and it's not sunny the olive oil and salt works great too and it's not too expensive. The best thing to do is talk to both a dermatologist and a gastroenterologist (sp?). Because what works for one person won't work for another. I know one man whose wife insists that he must cut out all sugar and fruits but yet it hasn't helped him any. Lavender essential oil is a good complementary treatment for psoriasis (as well as a lot of other skin conditions). Alfalfa is very good to take it is a blood purifier and cleanser, strengthens and cleanes kidneys and Vita E promotes healing of the skin For Psoriasis you need a combination of glyconutrients and a phytohormonal support. If you're on a gluten-free diet, I'm guessing that your intestinal disease is celiac? If it's related to celiac, it may not be psoriasis, but dermatitis herpetiformis (DH), (which you may already know of course). I have had pustual psoriasis for about 2 years and could not get rid of it I started using and antixodient called schanzdra plus as long as i use that product every day they leasions stay away, two or three days without it comes back. also have a product that helps with absorbtion, let me know if you need help finding the products. |
