Why do people get gastro intestinal cancer?

Because the gastrointestinal (GI) tract encompasses many different organs, GI cancer could include (but not limited to) the following types of cancer: esophageal, small intestinal, colorectal, hepatic (liver), pancreatic and gastric (stomach) cancers, as well as gastrointestinal endocrine cancers. There are numerous risk factors for many different kinds of cancer, such as tobacco, alcohol, diet, sunlight, radiation, and hormone replacement therapy. Most of these can be avoided. There are also inherited risk factors that cannot be avoided.

So, what I'm trying to say is that your question is difficult to answer.

why? why is the sky blue? it might be many things but what can you do after.

these are the factors...improved diet, exercise regulated by a doctor, faith, support system: friends ,family etc..
And last but not least, Laughter..

all of these factors are needed along with medications and treatment by your medical team
