Medical conditions in pakistan? |
my father traveled to Pakistan on a business trip and I just got a call that he got tired and checked in a hospital there. I'm so worried and I'm not sure what to think. His health hasnt been very good lately and a couple of years ago he's had a kidney transplant. They told me he went into intensive care because he had some high sugar and blood pressure. I dont know if it's kidney related or maybe the heat? he did complain about that. Should I be worried? heck I am so worried anyway!! HELP! Lot depends on where your father is in Pakistan. Karachi has v.good hospitals. If I am allowed to name it is Aga khan memorial hosp. Many Dr's in Karachi have UK and USA experience.and standard of care there is equal to that in Western countries. Generally any one unwell requiring immediate treatment is admitted to ICU first, where all emergency drs, nurses and equipments are available easily. |
