What is the honest death rate for women with recurring blood clots in the lungs? |
what is the honest death rate for women with recurring blood clots? my mother has been in the intensive care twice this year from blood clots in her lungs she is only 39yrs old with so much more life to live and it scares me to see her like not knowing the true %'s on death rate and survival! the first time she went in she had colapsed to the floor at home this time she was coughing up blood! i just want the gods honest truth about this. i don't want it sugar coated!!! It would not be possible to give an accurate answer to this question. I know quite a few people who have had this happen to, but the cause with proper treatment need to be found. Has your Mother been tested for clotting disorders? Is she on anticoagulants with a high enough INR? I have Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS) and have had recurring clots throughout my body.. Untreated, the death rate would be very high. Please insist on testing. Good Luck to you both! |
