I have bad hangnails that are really sore and painful-any suggestions?

I have been using vaseline intensive care lotion everyday for a while but that only seems to relieve them rather than actually heal them.
Any suggestions for a cure to this problem?

I have been using almond oil,my nails were brittle and peeling, and it has helped my cuticles to look better as well.
Massage it into the nail bed, you will have to give it a few weeks to work.I got mine from e.bay.

go and see a chiropodists it could turn infectious and then you will have to take anti biotics

I have exactly the same problem, I constantly pick at them and pull them until they bleed, I swim daily that makes them even worse. I have just bought some Mavala cuticle cream and that seems to be the best product I've found so far.

Water, water, water....your skin needs to be hydrated. I also recommend Eucerin, it's a bit greasy but after you put it on you're not going to want to scratch it.
