Insomnia?...?

i suffer from insomnia i dont want to take sleeping pills because i heard they wernt good for you.please help!

Natural sleep aids are the safest and most effective means to treat insomnia. Consider trying a cream like Sleep So Good for a convenient way to get your much needed rest. Leave prescription sleep aids to those you want an easy fix instead of a safe, healthy one.

Trytopohane , is a great natural amino acid , melotonin, valerian , sleepy time tea !

the doctors wouldnt give the medication to you if it wasnt in your best interest

im just saying

talk to your doctor about alt. ways to help you sleep...now your doctor might be able to find the underline problem like stress, or fatigue...but whatever it is when they find out what it is your doctor should be able to help you a safe way to help

well you can go i disco and dance all night i think that you will be very tired and than you will sleep like a baby,i always when i work something very hard i always got exosted may be it will the same for you. try why not.

Sleeping pills are addictive. First stop it. Before going to bed;-1.Avoid any hot drinks2.Sit straight in silence & observe your incoming & outgoing breath.3.Lie down, continue to focus your eyes between the eyebrows. in 5 minutes you are asleep

You need to have a quiet place to sleep. You need to remove as much stress from your life as possible because stress can awaken you. You need to vanquish caffeine from your diet as much as you can, especially at night. You need to exercise because this helps you to sleep better; however, do not exercise just before sleep. You need a comfortable bed and nice pillows. You need a darkened room. You should try to drink a glass of warm milk before bed as this induces sleep. try to go to sleep and to wake up the same time every day, even on your days off. Do not do troublesome things in bed which disturb you like studying a difficult subject because you might come to see your bed as a bad place and who could sleep in such a place?

If worse comes to worse you might have to ask your doctor for help.

Good luck.

Usual question in the newspapers...

- do not go to bed too early (around 22 h - 23 h)
- if you can not sleep, do not stay in your bedroom if you can go to the living room (to ensure a clear separation between sleep and activity)
- do not take medication
- do some sport (even walking and taking the stairs instead of the lift or escalator is fine ! :-) ),
- talk to friends.
- do not eat too much in the evening
- do not watch TV or surf on the internet, and go to bed just after (wait for some 20 minutes)

I take rozeram, its the best an non addictive. It is also similar to melatonin..
Good Luck

For a list of things I've tried for sleep and how they worked for me, see http://www.fms-help.com/sleep.htm My insomnia began when I was 16 - story is at http://www.fms-help.com/insomnia.htm

Maybe u should learn some ways to overcome your insomnia problem at my profile.

I read A testimonial about a guy thats been on sleep medication since he was 3 months old he says he used to struggle with sleeplessness all his life. He found a program that allows him that even if he wakes up at night he falls back to sleep again.
