Can Insomnia be developed or are you born with it? |
I am having trouble sleeping lately. there is no stress or any of those common factorsim losing sleep over. im not on drugs, not addicted to anything, and am a normal teenage guy. lately i have been finding that i have th eability to stay up as late as 3 to 4 in the morning without feeling tired. at any time during this point i could crawl into bed and fall asleep but i for some reason do not. like i said there are no factors causing me to lose sleep, i just want to know what i sgoing on. am i developing insomnia? can insomnia even be developed? am i just retarded and need to go to bed like a normal human being? in school it does not really affect me because i am on adderol th enext day. this sodesnt affect sleep and have taken it for years. all it does is make me focus for about 8 hours. it can be developed. when one stays up late several nights in a row. their body gets used to it and it is very hard to get back on track. but it is also genetic. for example, my mom and I both dont get tired till around midnight but my dad and sister both get really tired around like 9 or 10. but not being able to go to bed until 3 or 4 is probably because your body is used to it. try going to bed 15 minutes earlier each night and see if you can slowly get to a time that you would like to fall asleep. hope this helps Maybe since you've been on the Adderol for so long, it's time to have your situation re-evaluated. It could be causing the insomnia if your body no longer needs it or if it needs more of it. I'd talk to your doctor if I was you! Good luck! |
