I know what everyone sais about exersise, not drinking caffeen later in the day, winding down at night, but it seems like iv'e tried EVERYTHING and I still cannot sleep. I even took two tylonel sleeping aids the other night and I still was up till about 5 or 6 in the morning (and I took them at like 10). It's really bothering me because now I only sleep from exhaustion, and I usually only fall asleep in the day and It seems like I never even see the sun anymore. My parents don't want to put me on any sleeping pills because they don't want me becoming dependent on them, and they are convinced this is all in my head so idk wth 2 do!!! Ahhh!!! It's good that your parents are steering you away from sleeping pills, because they will do more damage than good. In fact they do nothing to cure your underlying cause. Lunesta You need to see your doctor. Sounds like you might have some problem mentally that keeps you awake and you might not even be aware of it. Your doc might actually recommend you see a counsellor of somekind. Insomnia is often caused by fear, stress, anxiety, medications, herbs, caffeine, depression or sometimes for no apparent reason.
