Insomnia cure..? please help me.? |
not sure how i ended up this way but.. i can't sleep at night i fear it's insomnia. It's gone on for months and i'm going insane! I used to have really bad insomnia and my girlfriend rubs my back every night before I go to bed and I sleep ALL through the night. It works for me so hope it helps you. You have to train yourself to sleep just like you train a baby to sleep all night. Start a routine preparing yourself for bed and do the same routine every night. At the same time. For the first week or so take a light sleeping pill until your body adjust to sleeping for at least eight hours. If this do not help, then you need to see a Doctor to determine if you have a sleep apnea. Me too.I have back problems and I can't sleep either.Have you tried warm milk before you go to bed.It does help.There is a supplement called "melatonin".It is a natural hormone found in the body that also helps but,you have to ajust the dosage to suit your own needs.I hope this helps,not being able to sleep sucks big time. Find a meditation that you can do before bed. Don't watch TV listen to music or read before bed. Give at least 1-2 hours before bed to make it your quiet time. Candle light. Peaceful setting. Quite music if any. Don't write. Let all the worries go and sink deep slowly into the bed, into the earth and feel held and nurtured....
