It is a nonflying insect which prefer darkness,2cm long.It drink blood which causes itching and allergy, and when we kill it lot of dark blood seen.I hv never seen this insect before.I am in Kerala Kottayam Dist.I put this insect in a glass to show someone.Where should I approach to identyfy this insect and get an insectcide for it. In the US,insects can be identified by the Dept. of Agriculture, the Department of Natural Resources ,and by the UW Extension Offices. It might be a bedbug. Is it like somewhat oval and dark brownish-black in color? I was bitten several times by a bedbug before, and they always resulted in awful itching for a long time before causing the skin to peel off. They can live for up to a year without feeding. |
