I'm using Splenda, the sugar substitute, to kill ants very effectively. It's dangerous to the environment? |
I knew Splenda is done with a powerful insecticide. Could it be dangerous for my pets? (I have a cat and a dog). Splenda is made with sugar alcohols, metabolized differently so it does not impact blood glucose. No it will not hurt your pets. Where did you hear that it is an insecticide? If it would harm our pets, I am sure we would be feeling the effects also. Like the other answerer said, it is made from sugar. You should research this stuff first. My Splenda does not kill ants. What kind of Splenda do you use? try baby powder or coffee grinds. it wont kill the ants it will ward them off. lol i have never heard that i also heard it has some sugar in it and there fore dont' use it just equal. |
