Doc says its' called "Papular Urticaria"?

Wonder if anyone had this "Papular Urticaria" b4? I work in a petshop for almost a yr, however 2 months back, I've got bites all over my body, looks like mosqitos bites but took serveral days or even weeks to recover.... worst still it leave scars =( e itch is terrible! I've tried serveral creams.. ect: Dermovate still no help~ It's neither Fleas or Ticks bites... maybe Mosqitos.. bt without fail, I apply insects repellent, still no help leh.... =(

It is likely due to some allergen that you come in contact with frequently. I can not enter a pet shop where they are super generous with cedar shavings...it causes my eyes to water, then sneezing. It could be as simple as the disinfectants, sprays or other things that are used around the animals...try applying a heavy cream to your skin...cocoa butter is ok....vaseline might be better, and washing these off after work...might be a little sticky...but it protects the skin....and maybe saves your job.

Papular urticaria is descriptive of your condition. Unfortunately, treatment and management can be disappointing. Keep in mind though that diseases can be viewed as alterations of the balance between the body defenses, environment or hygiene, and other organisms. Sanitation, cleanliness and good food can improve the body and its place under the sun. Antibiotics, antifungal, antiseptics and antiviral can kill or incapacitate microorganisms that may cause your problem. Some medications can reduce your symptoms. Nevertheless, this is an inexpensive advise: keep clean, bathe twice a day, and do not scratch the itch for two weeks. See the improvement, and if you like the change, just continue the process as a habit.

Papular urticaria is a common and often annoying disorder manifested by chronic or recurrent papules caused by a hypersensitivity reaction to the bites of mosquitoes, fleas, bedbugs, and other insects. Individual papules may surround a wheal and display a central punctum (Stibich, 2001). Papular urticaria tends to be evident during spring and summer months.

Most cases of papular urticaria are onto children. Treatment would be avoidance of new bites, with antihistamines orally and cortisone cream topically for flareups.

Papular Urticaria is describing a raised allergic rash. you may have developed an allergic reaction to the dander of the pets in the store. There are many antihistamines that can help, but they tend to cause drowsiness. You can take Benadryl 25-50 mg at night before you go to bed.I think you may have to change jobs. Hey you might really benefit in other ways by leaving. You could meet a new friend, a new love, new skills. You may also have contact dermatitis in which you are having an allergic reaction to things that come in contact with your skin, Rinse cycle twice with your clothing. Try Aveeno products. Clean your environment of dust and dirt. The cause is sometimes very difficult to discover. I hope you feel better soon

Papular Urticaria, more commonly known as "hives," is characterized by local elevated ridges (wheals) and redness (erythema) of the skin. This condition is usually triggered by allergic reactions to insect bites, sensitivity to drugs, or other environmental causes. The first symptom of Papular Urticaria is usually itching (pruritus), followed by the appearance of small or large wheals. In some cases, swelling of the soft tissues of the face, neck, and hands (angioedema) may also occur. Papular Urticaria may be caused by drug allergies, insect stings or bites, desensitization injections (allergy shots), or ingestion of certain foods (particularly eggs, shellfish, nuts, or fruits) by individuals who are allergic to these substances.

Try antihistamines or calamine lotion
