Insect or spider bites?

I'm staying in a hotel and have woke up each day with more red bites on my arms and legs. The doctor says they appear to be insect bites and not hives or an allergic reaction like the manager suggested (to avoid responsibility) My SO hasn't gotten any. Can anyone explain this and help me treat them? Benadryl and cortizone aren't helping and I'm going crazy b/c of the itching

I'm the only one in the bed who has bites, why is this?

Hotels are good places for bed bugs to live.....

Have the mattress vacuumed and see if it helps any.

Good luck!

Possibly bed bugs??? If they are itchy, I'd start by treating with over the counter hydrocortisone and benadryl but if the rash increases, changes or becomes inflammed or infected looking, I'd head back to the doc!

Good luck! Hope you still had a good vacation!

Bed bugs, they have been on the rise lately.

bed bugs or fleas, and vacuuming the matress wont work, if its bed bugs not only are they on top of the matress but deep inside it as well and i know a good vacuum will still leave tons of dirt on the floor, so my suggestion is if you have got to stay at this hotel.. cover the matress in plastic.. yes ... plastic not like your going to wet the bed or anything but this will help eleminate the problem some. also take that lovely hotel size bar of soap get it just a touch wet and put it on the bites it will dry them out quickly...

ok so i know this is gonna sound crazy to you, but i suggest you try it!!
If in fact they are bed bugs like everyone thinks (which are very common in hotels by they way)
sprinkle salt between to matress and the box springs.
My mother-in-law told me its a good way to keep them away and to get rid of them.
And after that I would vaccume your matress to be safe!

Hope I helped some! Good luck!
