No health insurance living in auburn hills michigan suffering with insect bites?

i think i have been biten by insect bites. its been three days and i have used over the counter creams but its not helping. i live in auburn hills michigan and have no health insurance. does any body have any idea of how to get a medical treatment or atleast a check of this and some medicine.

plz advise as i am in pain

If you haven't already, try some calamine lotion. its about 99 cents at any drug store. Also get some benadril, (not spelled right) --it will help with any itching and help the bites heal faster. Ask the druggest to point it out to you.

Hey theres really no advise that anyone can give if you are in pain...you need to go to the doctor. There are public health clinics...sure the wait is horrible but you must be seen. Its hard to know what has biten you, or what the affects will be. Thats has to be looked at and diagnosed by a doctor. Dont be to stubborn some insects bites can cause nerve damage, or cause tissue to die. My friend was biten by a spider and like you didn't want to see a doctor...she ended up having to get a giant chunk of her muscle removed...it was all dead. You must be sure....dont play with your heath. In the mean time try alcohol or vinegar...they can dry out insect bites and sometimes take the sting out of it. Make sure to use benadryl for swelling. If the swelling is really bad use both topical and oral meds. Try milk of magnesia or toothpaste, it works for me. Good luck, please see the doctor!
