How to prevent itching from insect bites? |
I have two dogs, and they always have fleas under thier tushy. They normally bite me when I'm outside, and I spray this product Cut-Off (i think) that is for Outdoors and indoors use only and its sfae on the skin. These pesky flea bit me on the areas of my leg, butt cheeks, fingers, arm pits, shoulders, arms, and other areas of those blood-sucking insects like to bite. Any suggestions? Try using Calamine Lotion, that should help the itch. You could also use Hydrocortizone Cream. You should also think about gettin some medicine for those pups! If they are bothering you this much, think of what they are doing to those poor pups! Good luck!* Dip your dogs for fleas and put flea collars on them, leave them in an area while you spray your yard to kill the fleas. Do this about once a month to get rid of them. Just think of how miserable your dogs are, and they have no spray on them. That sounds really bad. 1 or 2 insect bites aren't bad, but that many can spread to a rash or something else. See a doctor. In the meantime, try putting some special creams or sprays specifically for bug bites, or try lotions. Hope the itching stops, and good luck. well, i guess you have to keep your dogs clean or have them take their bath regularly so you can atleast get rid of those pesky fleas... Obviously, you need to get rid of your dogs flea infestation. A flea bath several times in a row along with a flea collar and perhaps flea drops as well. Hydrocortizone would probably help you. why not use fFrontline on the dogs http://frontline.us.merial.com/home/ and to stop the itch maybe bactine or mycitracine plus or neo-sporin http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/drugi... Cortisone cream/gel/lotion anything like that will help. Also try to go to your local convenient store (Wal-mart, K-mart ETC....) try and find a flea and tick Bomb, Put one in each room of your house and set them off. Make sure to get dogs birds or anything else out of the house for a few hours (Try going to the park) and when you get back everything will be done! |
