How does one help someone conquer inhalant addiction?

I'm seeking advice regarding conquering inhalant addiction, and how to help someone who's currently suffering from it. I've recommended going to the family doctor, there are concerns about privacy, insurance, etc. I've attempted to help by removing the tempting objects from my household--the nail polish remover, rubbing alcohol, any paint pens, glue, or paint, but it seems to just keep creeping back into the house. I want to help this person, but like with any addiction, the person is going to have to want to get better before they can, but there has to be something I can do to help. Are there such things as confidential treatment centers for this sort of problem?

It is an addiction like you said. I had trouble with my son but with weed. Re-hab and new friends. Your insurance might pay for the re-hab facility , ours did, very expensive. New friends are hard to get unless he wants to. They usually don't want that. I know it sounds horrible to do to them but it will either be get tough or maybe brain damage or death.

the only way you can help is by not being An enabler to that person. The only way any one over comes problems of that type is #1,They have to be sick and tired of being sick and tired of doing the same thing over and over expecting diffrent results.
#2,They must want to quit. If they dont than it is A waist of your time trying to help them.#3,AN aa MEETING OR na meeting or contact your dr and ask if he knows where their are alot of huffers that are not dead in A nut house beacuse if they due not suffacate they end up in A nut house due to brain dammage,then again if you live here in L A You could take this person for a walk almost any where in town and see the effects of that type of abuse to oners self. if that dose not work I hate to say this you might have to write them off.
