Influenza? |
ok today i was holding a child at work (child care center) and the child coughed right in my face. well when she was finally sent home, i talked to her mother after the doctors appointment and she told me the child has Influenza. i fear i might have gotten it. my throat already hurts from others being sick in the center, and i fear that it will only get worse, and i could devoelope this virus. She said there is no medician for curing this, it just has to take its course and only meds that can help the symptoms can be taken. is there anything i can do for myself. I really cant miss work and i havent got my insurance yet cause i just started the job 3-4 weeks ago. I hate being sick! Thanks to anyone who answers. and no i didnt get the flu shot sadly influenza is actually caused by virus.and there is no real cure for that and usual doctors will only prescribe some symptoms relief medications( never take antibiotics!!! antibiotics are useless against virus, it only creates new antibiotic- resistant virus)human body will initiates immune response against the viral attack and the most useful way to prevent manifestation of this viral attack is probably enhance your own immune system.vitamin in-take and sufficient rest might be helpful. drink more water n free yourself from any sorts of stress might also be helpful. take antibiotics for relieve.those people r useless who say dont take it.i sugesset u take it.kill that baby Report It Try: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/tutor... Maybe you don't really have influenza. I'm no MD but I know there are many other ailments that one can "come down with" that might be less dangerous, painful, long-lasting, etc, than flu. Try not to worry, and see your personal Dr. Hopefully, though you did prepare by getting the flu vacc last fall. I do hope u feel better soon. There is a strong possibility you will get the flu.Just drink lots of fluids, rest,Tylenol for fever and pain.I am surprised they didn't require you to get a flu vaccine |
