I have Influenza Type A. How will I know when I am no longer contagious? I do not want to spread it.? |
Influenza Type A was diagnosed with nasal swab. I began taking Tamiflu just 6 hours after my fever started 6 days ago. My fever came to an end 4 days ago, I feel fine, but I still cough several times an hour. I hope to avoid giving it to my family, whom I am visiting today after a long journey. Once your symptoms are gone for a few days you should be safe. The cough is frequently a residual thing that persists for a while after infection cleared. Its your lungs clearing themselves. Your family should be safe. Especially if they have had their flu jags. |
