12 year old has the flu i need some home remedies (she wants to try something new) She cannot take any meds like nyquil (she has sydafects (sp?)

ps no herbal stuff that you buy please

sherbert and 7 up always worked for me as a kid, also broth for nutrients. Try to drink water or gaterade and don't get dehydrated.
