Is Influenza (FLU) vaccination essential for Kids?

Doctors say that FLU viruses are constantly changing,so every year before FLU season the vaccination should be given.

Recently the New York Times鈥?Lawrence Altman, the dean of American medical writers, reported that 93 children have died from the flu this season in the US. Altman states: "Thirty-three of the victims had not been vaccinated. The disease control agency [CDC] recommends vaccination for all healthy children 6 months and older." This means that 60 of the 93 who died were vaccinated. Would you roll the dice with odds like that?

An accomplished medical doctor recently stated his opinion, after years of research and experience he stated, "Our children face the possibility of death or serious long-term adverse effects from mandated vaccines that aren't necessary or that have very limited benefits.", Jane M. Orient, M.D., Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) executive director. As well as William C. Torch, M.D., Director of Child Neurology, Department of Pediatrics, University of Nevada School of Medicine stated, "This data shows that DPT vaccination may be a generally unrecognized major cause of sudden infant and early childhood death, and that the risks of immunization may outweigh its potential benefits. A need for re-evaluation and possible modification of current vaccination procedures is indicated by this study."

The composition of this year's flu vaccine is as follows;
鈥thylene glycol (antifreeze)
鈥henol, also known as carbolic acid (this is used as a disinfectant, dye)
鈥ormaldehyde, a known cancer-causing agent
鈥luminum, which is associated with Alzheimer's disease and seizures and also cancer producing in laboratory mice (it is used as an additive to promote antibody response)
鈥himerosal (a mercury disinfectant/preservative) can result in brain injury and autoimmune disease
鈥eomycin and Streptomycin (used as antibiotics) have caused allergic reaction in some people.
As well as these constituents vaccines are grown and strained through animal or human tissue like monkey kidney tissue, chicken embryo, embryonic guinea pig cells, calf serum, and human diploid cells (the dissected organs of aborted human fetuses as in the case of rubella, hepatitis A, and chickenpox vaccines). Would want any of these vaccine constituents in YOUR bloodstream? All these constituents are dangerous by themselves what makes them safe by combining them into a vaccine cocktail? Next time you see your doctor have them read you the insert that comes with the vaccine. Then have him/her explain why it makes sense to inject harsh chemicals into the human body and how such substances can aid the delicate immune system.
In order to resolve the value of flu vaccines to children, Tom Jefferson, MD, and colleagues at the Cochrane Collaboration looked at over a thousand studies. They then selected 14 high-quality clinical trials in which vaccinated children had been compared with unvaccinated children. The combined results of these 14 trials were reported in the British journal 鈥楾he Lancet鈥?(2/26/05). Here's the conclusion: 鈥淲e recorded no convincing evidence that vaccines can reduce mortality, [hospital] admissions, serious complications, and community transmission of influenza.鈥?For more information you can visit, http://www.vaccinetruth.org/, http://www.gwenolsen.com or http://www.mercola.com

Here are four of the most important steps to get you started:
1. Focus immediately on eating properly.
2. Increase your intake of omega-3s with DHA and EPAs found in fish oil. Most in the U.S. are dangerously deficient in this essential fat, and this deficiency leads to a compromised immune system.
3. Practice good hygiene by washing your hands and the rest of your body properly. (Avoid all antibacterial soaps as they are completely unnecessary and could do you and your family more harm than good in the long run.)
4.Also I believe that chiropractic can be very beneficial with increase a persons ability to fight diseases such as the flu.

Its not NEEDED, but its good to get it especially if you have somone in your house with astma or somthing like diabetes.

No, it's not essential. We have lived just fine for the thousands of years before the invention of the flu vaccine (flu vaccine is very new, it wasn't commonplace even just 10 years ago.)

Personally, my one year old got a flu vaccine and got sick. My mother in law got a flu vaccine and also got sick... It may not have been the actual flu, but the body responded almost just as harshly so why even do it. Now I will not give one to my child again and I certainly won't get it myself either.

no they are not essential they are profit makers for the drug companies and try talking to some nuerologists ask them if they get flu shots, no! cause they can cause guillen barre and other syndromes that affect the nervous system,it is your call after talking to your pediatirician however I recommend a healthy diet and good handwashing as well as visitng some holisitc health sites ,western medicine is not all that it is cracked up to be

kids with chronic conditions, such as asthma, should or if they will be in close proximity with those who have chronic conditions and depressed immune systems.

It's a good idea for children, the elderly and sick to be vaccinated since their immune systems are weaker than an avg. healthy adult.

wash hands, wash hands, wash hands,

This depends on the child. Kids that are in school or daycare where they are heavily exposed to other children and sicknesses are more likely to need it. However, there are some people that actually get sicker from the vaccine than the actual flu, but this isn't too common.

It is for small infants and children with high risk factors like asthma, and other diseases that lower your immune system.
Most children who do end up getting the flu make it through the misery just fine.

under 3 years kinds used half dose
