is it bad. like deadly, the only def. i read was about it in animals. but it can be in humans too right? No influenza isn't bad. Its just the flu. Hence inFLUenza. But it can become a bad sickness, if you don't get better and ignore it, and don't see a doctor. Influenza is just a type of flu. There are many kinds. Well, influenza is just the flu. Yes, the flu can on occasion be deadly. And there have been huge outbreaks of bad cases like the one that happened in the late part of WWI. Yes, influenza can be deadly in humans. It is caused by several different strains of viruses that are continuously mutating. That is why it is so hard to control and to find just the right vaccine to give each year. Try going to the NIH or CDC web sites, I think that you'll find the type of information that your looking for there. It's a super long name for the flu. It usually doesn't kill people, but it can. It usually depends on the victims overall health and lifestyle. People who are generally unhealthy, don't exercise, drink, and eat unhealthy foods, are at more risk of dieing, than those who do exercise and eat healthy. But some are just those unlucky ones whose DNA causes them to have weaker immune systems. But generally, if you stay healthy and take a multivitamin, you shouldn't be at too much, if any, risk. flu |
