Severe back pains & influenza..?

okay, well i just caught the flu bug, and i feel like crap.
i only got 3 hours of sleep, and i woke up to a sinus headache, and very severe back pains.
my back usually hurts a lot, but this time, it feels so much different.
i try to make the pain stop- and it doesn't work. i took a motrin and it didn't help.
my question is: is there any relation to the flu and having severe back pains? could my back pains be part of the flu i have?

please help, i feel like i'm dying dude, seriously.

i hate doctors. and i don't have any health insurance yet. ty for your advice though.

Dude. ME too. Yes it is due to the flu quite possibly. Are u coughing? When u dont get enough rest on top of being sick, the slightest wrong movement could do some damage like pull a muscle in your back. (Dang that hurts like a s.o.b.)Put heat on your hurt area for 20 min a few times a day until u feel better.

Yes, this could be related to having the flu. I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.

This could definitely be related to influenza, muscle aches and pains are one of the symptoms, combined with the fact you have another condition which causes you back pain and the two will in effect amplify each other, it should return to normal in a few days or so though when your body begins to eliminate the virus effectively.
