How to transmit Influenza?

The main way that influenza viruses are spread is from person to person in respiratory droplets of coughs and sneezes. (This is called "droplet spread.") This can happen when droplets from a cough or sneeze of an infected person are propelled (generally up to 3 feet) through the air and deposited on the mouth or nose of people nearby. Though much less frequent, the viruses also can be spread when a person touches respiratory droplets on another person or an object and then touches their own mouth or nose (or someone else鈥檚 mouth or nose) before washing their hands.

aaaaaaaaaaachuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

I have heard that the shaking of hands between people or touching what they have touched is the spreader of the flu. In fact, here in America, we shake hands and in doing so, spread it readily. I also heard on the radio where the all time greatest place to get germs are from the handles of the grocery carts where people's hands are on them. After I go shopping I use that antibacterial hand lotion when I get in my car!

don't wash your hands... sneeze cough
