Control of...? |
I'm fourteen, and I'm on steroids, (prednisolone), for Inflammatory Bowel Disease. How do I control my insatiable appetite? I get real hungry. How do I control this? When I'm not on steroids, my appetite's real small. Ensure you drink sensible quantities of quality fluids. Talk to your doctor. He or she should be able to recommend something. Or, take advantage of the steroids and work out :o) Umm well, I know chinese accupressure says to hold your ear lobes extremely tightly for a minute when u get hungry. I find drinking a glass of water and eating one handful of peanuts or any nut over the period of 10 minutes (so eat one nut wait like 30 seconds or so and then eat another) that curbs your appetite. Also another way to curb your appetite, and it also is a healthier way to eat, is eating every one-two hours BUT only eat an amount of food that equals the size of your fist. That is the size of your stomach |
