Accupuncture & Infertility ???

Has anyone ever tried accupuncture to help treat infertility issues? I am currently going to a fertility specialist but my friend told me to try accupuncture and I am just wondering if anyone has ever tried it? Any thoughts or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanx :)

Acupuncture can promote fertility. In fact there are many acupuncturists who specialize in the treatment of infertility. Qualified acupuncturists can be found here http://www.tcmdirectory.com

It certainly wouldn't hurt. Many causes of infertility are NOT well understood. Try a traditonal chinese acupuncturist with lots of experience.

Second, nerve interference in the low back can cause decreased or too thick of mucus in the female or other types of dysfunction. Subluxation in the cervical spine can affect the function of the thyroid. Both options are certaianly less expensive and less risky, but there are so many causes of problems with the man and woman, you may still need a fert exxxpert!

There are lots of new studies out proving acupuncture's benefit in infertility for men and women.

Acupuncturetoday.com has a detailed article; just type in 'infertility study'.

Acupuncture in combination with a healthy diet and some Chinese herbs works very well on fertility problems.

These last few studies that claim acupuncture CAUSES infertility are a load of garbage. If you research it, they were in all likelihood sponsored by pharmaceutical companies hawking fertility drugs.
