Can the position of the scrotum cause infertility? |
I was wondering if a male has a scrotum that is positioned front to back instead of side to side if it can cause infertility? And are there many men with this condition? This is an excellent question. Generally speaking, a "front to back" scrotum as you say should not lead to infertility unless there are some internal structrual differences as well leading to lower sperm counts and decreased ejaculation volume. only if they are held against the body all the time, so that they cannot cool off. The higher temperature will cause some of them to die only if the scrotem is located above the penis. |
