Infertility concerns?

I had chlymidia about 6 months ago for a period of 3 - 4 weeks and then immediately had it treated and was fine after that. What are the chances of me having damage to my Fallopian tubes. I had absolutely no sypmtoms when I had Chlymidia...not even discharge.
Only serious answers please

I think you'll be fine, as long as its been treated. Its not like you had it long enough to seriously damage your fellopian tubes.

I am sure you'll be fine.

Good Luck x

your best bet would be to consult your doctor. Everyones body reacts differently to different things. A doctor would know.

When they say, if left untreated, they mean for the course of many months. You are fine.

I had it when i was 19 and treated months later. I didn't have any trouble get pregnant and I have 2 beautiful kids.

It is impossible to say without a HSG, Hysterosalpingogram, a liquid is injected directly into the falopian tube via the vagina.

The passage of this liquid through the tube is the only way to prove whether it is blocked or not.

The passage through the tube is monitored either by x-ray or ultrasound, depending on the system in use by your local hospital, the latter is the better because all x-rays are dangerous, and also dangerous to the foetus, if you happened to be pregnant.

Your doctor can arrange it all for you.

My nurse told me that it usually only damages the tubes when it comes close to developing into Pelvic Inflamatory Disease. Not sure if this is true though. My friend was treated for Chlymida and now has 2 healthy children.
