Nasty infectious diseases.?

For science I have to pick a infectious disease and my teacher said the more nastier, gory and repulsive it is, the better any ideas?

Necrotizing fasciitis is horrid. Go here :

black death:

HPV if your immune system isn't functioning properly:

and finally: Guinea Worm Infection - Drancunculiasis

it is a parasite though, so it may not count. But it is still fairly gross looking.
I hope you do not have a weak tum... this site is wonderfully graphic.

Do a Google search for "flesh eating bacteria." There are many, many results, and many graphic pictures under the images section.

The bubonic plague and cholera are both pretty disgusting. Creutzfeld Jacobs disease is pretty ugly too.

Pick filariasis and show LOTS of pictures.

MRSA get your Dr. to give you all the info.
It's a fast spreading killer, especially in Hospitals and Nursing Homes.

yeah I willl get her a fish.... later though
