Why Do infectious diseases spread more quickly in the Gay community? |

Because the anus and rectum harbor a vast number of bacteria. After all, consider the purpose of these structures. The membranes were never intended for sex and they tear and perforate far more easily than does vaginal tissue. And because gay men may tend to be more careless about sex partners and using protective measures. That's why. They spend their $ on Liberace and Streisand albums instead of rubbers!!! The type of sex that gay men engage in gives exposure much more readily to blood and bacteria than vaginal sex. Unfortunately, multiple partners and lack of precautions (AKA condoms) also aid in the proliferation of the infectious disease. |
