What suggestions can you give to prevent outbreaks of infectious diseases?

The most effective way to prevent the spread of infection is to wash your hands. Do it after using the restroom and before eating or drinking anything. It's just a good habit to get into.

ah...dont get infected! & if u do get infected, keep urself isolated for the rest of ur life to save all the rest of us!

Infectious disease microbes are everywhere...most are acquired through skin contact and inhaling contaminated air. The sure way to prevent outbreaks (but impractical) is to isolate ourselves from everyone else. Hehe. But what a lonely world that would be. Just make sure your immune system is strong and make sure everything you touch is clean and sanitary.

dont play in any dumpsters

wash your hands more often, don't be too near people that are sick, eat healthy food -your immune system likes it.
I think it's important to laugh a lot and "feel well" ....do things that you like :p

Immunization against vaccine preventable diseases, hand washing, avoiding contaminated food and drink, safe blood transfusion, avoiding sexual promiscuity, avoiding drug addiction.
