How do I found the "infectious agent scientific name (Genus species) of diseases?

I have a weekly assignment to complete disease report papers. Every week I seem to have problems identifing the, Infectious Agent Scientific Name (Genus Species) and the "Nature of Agent"
As an example this week my assignment isCiguatera fish poisoning, Paralytic shellfish poisoning (PSP), neuotoxic shellfish poisoning (NSP), Diarrhetic Shellfish poisoning (DSP), Amnesic shellfish poisoning(ASP), Puffer fish poisoning, Azaspiracid poisoning(AZP). I am using the "Control of Communicable Disease Manual" from the CDC, as required by the course. I am permitted to use other references as long as they are acredible. The disease report paper requires the following info: Genus species, communicable disease, nature of agent, mode of transmittion, inc. period, reservoir, symptoms, dx., tx., control. This has been a problem all quarter for me and I would really like to get a 100% on my paper instead of the 98% I have grown acustomed too. Can anyone HELP. Where do I look? Ive looked on CDC online

It's kind of funny... if you are smart enough to be an A student then why do you not know how to use a computer? I simply used Yahoo search engine and found the answers to each one of these. The resources were from credible sources such as public health departments and centers for marine biology. If you truely want your 2% then earn the points yourself since you are the one paying for this education. It saddens me a little that your quest is for a grade and not for understanding of the material. At least when you get hired someday for a job, just say I don't know anything about my work but I can use Yahoo Answers.

These conditions are not normally transmitted from person to person which is the CDC's primary focus so less information in their databanks on it. Anyhow, the answer to your question is to look for matierial from the marine biology centers like Scripps-Howard, Ohio State University Marine Biology, University of Florida Marine Biology Ctr., etc. The point of this assignment is to lead you to your goal by developing good research tools you can apply to new situations...not have someone solve it for you. That's why they are looking for "credible" sources .. to show you did the work to hunt the answers down.
