What's The Major Infectious Disease In Jamaica?

I need to know the major infectious disease in Jamaica. And it would be nice to know the population below poverty as well. Please help! I need it for a school project that's due on march 7th.

I apologize for the ignorance of the user above me..........not because a country has majority black population doesn't mean it has a high % of population infected with aids.....reasoning is illogical.
However his answer is somewhat correct, one of the major infectious disease is AIDS and of course by now I'm sure you know how it is contracted.
Also in the late part of 2003 we had outbreaks of malaria.
The population below poverty line is actually 19.1% and this was based on a study done in 2006.

Check out the link below, tonnes of info you will find useful, scroll down to Economy, to find data that relates to your question...........GOOD LUCK!!!

I WOULD SAY AIDS ...CAUSE IN ALOT OF BLACK COUNTRIES THAT IS THE MAJOR INFECTIOUS DISEASE ..I MEAN IT IS IN LIKE SOUTH AFRICA , NIGERIA
CONGO ETC.
