Are warts a viral infection?

Okay, I have a wart on my hand that keeps reappearing. Are warts viral infections or just hard to get rid of?

they're a mixture of both they can also reappear due to stress

They are a form of virus. Your doctor could probably give you something to kill the virus and the wart won't come back. Good luck!

their both try liquid nitrogen

Apparently, yes.

If it is really a wart, it is probably a type of HPV. HPV also causes plantar warts and genital warts, and can cause cervical cancer, but I don't believe it is the same HPV which causes the various warts (i.e., I don't believe you would give yourself genital warts by touching a plantar wart and then touching your genitals).

You might have HPV. Many people have it. Go get yourself checked.

It could be too much sun. Dr's do say warts/moles are virus infection, but I have had several removed recently due to sun damage of years gone by. What the Dr. does is freeze the wart with liquid nitrogen and it scabs over for a few days until it falls off. Depending how big it is, this is the best way. If uncomfortable, get it taken care of by a Dr. It's painless and hopefully no other warts will appear elsewhere on your body.
