Are warts a viral infection? |
Okay, I have a wart on my hand that keeps reappearing. Are warts viral infections or just hard to get rid of? they're a mixture of both they can also reappear due to stress They are a form of virus. Your doctor could probably give you something to kill the virus and the wart won't come back. Good luck! their both try liquid nitrogen Apparently, yes. If it is really a wart, it is probably a type of HPV. HPV also causes plantar warts and genital warts, and can cause cervical cancer, but I don't believe it is the same HPV which causes the various warts (i.e., I don't believe you would give yourself genital warts by touching a plantar wart and then touching your genitals). You might have HPV. Many people have it. Go get yourself checked. It could be too much sun. Dr's do say warts/moles are virus infection, but I have had several removed recently due to sun damage of years gone by. What the Dr. does is freeze the wart with liquid nitrogen and it scabs over for a few days until it falls off. Depending how big it is, this is the best way. If uncomfortable, get it taken care of by a Dr. It's painless and hopefully no other warts will appear elsewhere on your body. |

Go see an ear, nose and throat specialist. If it was a virus it should have been gone within a few days of you noticing pain. If you aren't running a fever than it is not bacteria caused eit... Joking aside, you are spot on except that it is our immune system that kills viruses and cancer (which could be viruses too) - Food does most definitely kill... This is not an unusual pattern. After a decent viral infection the immune system may be under par and remain so for some months. If you check white blood counts there is often a neutropaenia ( low ... interferon ...She needs to see a doctor as soon as possible to rule out any kind of internal trouble...and make SURE that she is not suffering from an eating disorder! This is very serious & could cause deat... It could be a cold sore or a fever blister. Just keep an eye on it and if it does not go away, then I would go back to the doctor. ...are you on any kind of medication? That is a long time for it to be just a viral infection.
