If a person has just had surgery with a weak immune system should he have visitor with viral infection? |
dad just had septic gallbladder removed, has duodeum cancer in remission, niece with severe ear infection and some type of viral infection, his immune system is extremely low, should I take the chance? he is 69 years old Definitley not!!!! Tell your neice to send him some flowers and/or a card, and that she'll see him when he's home. NO No, it is not worth the risk. If his immune system is low then he is much more open to infection. No not a chance. If his immune system is low he is more susceptible to infection. Keep people who are ill away from him. i don't think so. Um this answer is easy noooooo... No, you should wait until her infection has cleared up before you take her to see him. If his immune system is as low as you imply it is, you could be putting dad in harms way. You should also take the time to decontaminate yourself before entering the room if you have been around the niece, this will help ensure that you do not bring the virus in on your clothing, hair or skin. Hell no!! |
