Bladder infections frequent since new partner/ what is going on? |
I have a new boyfriend and since we've been sleeping together I've gotten several bladder infections. I take all the precautions already, urinating post-sex, I'm a very clean person and so is he. So what is going on? What is it about him that is giving me these? This has never happened before and I have a friend who tells me that she had a partner who JUST with him she got tons of bladder infections. There is a small and tricky organism that is called Trichomonas that might be responsible for your condition. It usually manifests itself only in the female part of the relationship, but the men also carry it. Go to your GP or ObGyn and get tested for that. If it is that, it's neither your fault or his. T. sometimes... just happens (I got it once) If you have oral sex, is he using a mouthwash before hand? Looking @ your previous questions....one has to wonder. If you have a new partner, I would guess that you're having sex more often than usual, either because it's a new relationship, or because you were having a dry spell before. Make sure you're also urinating BEFORE sex as well as after, and always wipe front to back. |
